J&J Photo Gallery

J&J Hunting has had as guests men and women from across the country.  From Oklahoma to Virginia, to Georgia, J&J welcome hunters of all experience levels.  Here are just a few photos from visitors to J&J Hunting.

These are just a few of the pictures we have and will be updating them each day.

This is a wonderful group of men who came into the great state of Oklahoma to experience what we call "real" whitetail deer hunting.  While there may be some good hunting in Georgia, as you can see, they went back home with plenty venison in their freezers and and incredible racks for their walls.

They started coming here in 2003, now, they are like family.  Once you experience J&J, you'll be like family too.

Virginia is for lovers, as they say, but these Virginians came to experience Oklahoma whitetail hunting.  Now, they love Oklahoma almost as much as their home state.

All three of these kind gentlemen enjoyed their stay, booked additional hunts, and when you book your hunt with J&J, you just might enjoy having these men around the J&J campfire every couple years.

Giving back is a way of life at J&J Hunting.  We host one of the most successful and entertaining youth hunts in all of Oklahoma.  We book our youth hunts early so, send us an email today to see if there are any slots left! J&J is the only outfitter to host this event each and every year.

This group pictured above are from last October and were particularly wonderful young men and women.  We here at J&J understand fully that if we do not encourage our next generation to enjoy hunting, the sport will be something our grandchildren read about in history books.  The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is to be commended for sponsoring and maintaining such an effective youth hunting program.

Here is a picture of John Miller, Jr. taking a hog in 2003.  Sons Corey (10) and Jacob (6) smile with great pleasure as Dad took out what would have certainly been a Hogzilla.

This isn't the first monster hog taken on the properties of J&J, and it will most certainly not be the last.  While hogs aren't always on the hunting on the menu at J&J, they make for great sport.

Note the particularly wide smiles on the faces of the boys - this is something we're used to seeing here at J&J Hunting.  The tusks on this hog made for a great trophy, but the memories were infinitely more important.

Now here is an interesting picture of a great buck taken at J&J Hunting.  If you look closely, you'll see that this buck has not one, not two but three drop tines.

When asked how John and Juanita consistently see such large and well bred bucks, they respond, "We have been doing this a very long time so our food plots, feeders and harvests are very strategic and are traditions passed down generation to generation."

Superior herds make for superior deer harvests each year at J&J Hunting.  This photo is but one of many examples of superior whitetail deer roaming the expansive properties of J&J Hunting.

Book your dream hunt today and see if you can take a few pictures like this for yourself!

We're about more than just whitetail deer at J&J Hunting (though we're very proud of our deer), we also have amazing Rio Grande turkeys that make your mouth water just looking at them.

This is a photo of two Rio Grande toms taken on two consecutive days, from the same location.  And as you can see, they are keepers.

On any given day at J&J, you'll find a substantial number of wild turkeys that are ready for your trophy wall (or your fryer).

Yes, as a matter of fact, she DOES hunt like a girl and now she has the trophy to prove it.  Rhonda W. from Yukon, Oklahoma earned that smile as a result of bagging this incredible buck out at J&J Hunting.

Rhonda is one of many women who find J&J a comfortable and rewarding location to hunt, fellowship and enjoy the great Oklahoma outdoors without the "good old boy" attitudes of a truncated past.

Rhonda is very proud of this whitetail buck and John Miller was proud to see her meet with such incredible success.

Here are three fellas from south of the Red River (Texas) proving that around the J&J Hunting campfire, the only rivalries that matter is who bagged the first or the biggest whitetail buck at J&J Hunting.

Martin F. from Florida with his 175lb, 163+ score buck.  His smile is almost as large as the 15.5" G2.  When he saw this buck, it was all he could do to contain himself, but fortunately he did and now, it graces his trophy room.

Another great buck taken at J&J Hunting.

Johnny K. from Woodward, Oklahoma is proud of this 150lb, 150 class buck.  Particularly proud because it was taken in the first hour, the first day of the hunt.  He saw this one's twin the same day.  Johnny entered a big buck contest with this whitetail...and won.  His prize:  Free mounting and bragging rights.

Are you ready for some J&J Hunting bragging rights?

There's fun and then there's big-fun.  John and Juanita host a ladies-only dove hunt and the 2007 hunt was phenomenal.  Suzi Rouse (Oklahoma City Gun Club) along with Suzanne Black (WILD Oklahoma Radio and Television Pro Staff) brought a new group of ladies to experience the fun that can only be found at J&J Hunting.  Those smiles you see aren't just for the camera - they are real.  Women are welcomed hunters at J&J Hunting.

Speaking of women hunters, certainly you're familiar with the "First Lady of Hunting," Brenda Valentine.  Brenda had a spectacular time and the Red Head team were amazed at the footage of this great big buck coming in.  The Red Head hunting staff was able to get more footage of this incredible buck than any other they have filmed - and this is a tribute to the hard work of John and Juanita at J&J Hunting.  Think Brenda will be coming back?

You'll notice that Brenda bagged this monster with her muzzleloader and one thing you'll find at J&J is that every season is a great time to hunt at J&J.  Archery, muzzleloader as well as rifle season bring out some of the biggest bucks in the state of Oklahoma.

Brenda Valentine is part of the Bass Pro Shop's Pro Staff, and has been a member of the Red Head hunting team for many years.

One of Oklahoma's great traditions is wild turkey hunting.  In this photo, Dean from the panhandle came out to bag some birds, but he had no idea he would bag not one but two awesome toms.

Dean said, and this is a direct quote, "I didn't know I could have this much fun with my pants on."

Hunters throughout the state of Oklahoma understand that sentiment - particularly those who come to J&J.

And then there are these fellows from Indiana.  They had a wonderful time of fellowship and obviously successful hunting.  And yes, they said they'd be back to J&J.

John and Juanita are used to seeing the smiles of satisfied hunters at J&J because when you come to J&J, you'll have the hunt of a lifetime!
